Our story started when we moved to our Missouri residence in 2022. Our new home, set on 30+ acres with a barn, was the perfect place to start the homestead we had been dreaming of. With chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and cows, it soon became apparent that we were going to need a lot of supplies to create an environment where they could all thrive. One common need was wood—wood to build fences, repair the barn, create structures for protection from the elements, and much more. This led to the question: “Why don’t we mill our own wood?” From there, we acquired a saw mill, a kiln was put in progress, and the tools needed to fell trees came soon after. Now, all we needed were trees! Even though we have them all over our property, we didn’t want to cut them all down right away and lose the coverage and resources they provide. That’s when Timberline Tree Services was founded. We are a family owned and operated business with four of our nine kids on the team. Even our 12 year-old youngest works on site during the summer.
